Elena Klimova is a Russian artist based in Hong Kong. She studied Fine Art at Abramtsevo Art College in Russia, where she graduated in 2010. Working with different materials and techniques, Elena strives to find and depict the beauty of everyday life. Moving to Hong Kong
in 2011 had a significant impact on her art. Ever since she first relocated to the city, she has been studying local culture and traditions through drawing and painting different subjects
connected with Hong Kong. The range of her subject matter therefore mirrors the diversity of the city. Her work depicts historical monuments, busy streets, local shops, temples, and the
impressively vast countryside tucked inside this tiny city.
Besides participating in various exhibitions in Hong Kong and abroad, for the past 10 years Elena Klimova has also been teaching drawing and painting.
