Dilara Polat was born and raised in Turkey, Istanbul. She Joined Canlandiranlar Talent Camp at 2010 and made her first animated short, An Istanbul Seagull, which was screened at 15+ international animation festivals and won Anifest special Jury prize. She later worked on the animated documentary Invisible Walls, Tales of Insecurities as a storyboarding artist and illustrator. She moved to Hong Kong to study Sequential Arts at SCAD HK in 2015. She joined the 2018 Disney ImagiNations Hong Kong Design Competition and won first place with her team. Since then her works have been published at Hong Kong, China and Turkey. She is currently a Creative Designer at Hong Kong Disneyland.
