Zue Chan
BIOGRAPHY
Zue Chan is an artist based in Hong Kong, influenced by both Eastern and Western cultures. Her work focuses on themes of resilience and flow through the connection between stones and water, symbolizing inner strength and emotional vitality. Currently, she is an artist in residence at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) and participated in the ‘A Position To Retreat’ residency in Vancouver Island, Canada, in 2024.
Zue has exhibited widely, with notable solo exhibitions like Unconstrained at PMQ in Hong Kong in 2021, and group shows such as the Affordable Art Fair, ‘The Power of Empowerment’ and the 'Uniquely Hong Kong' Art Exhibition.
Zue holds a Flower Professor Diploma from the American Floral Art School (Hong Kong) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honors) in Theatre and Entertainment Arts from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Her unique blend of traditional Chinese ink techniques and contemporary methods creates a distinctive artistic style and fosters a deep appreciation for nature.
