You

You

“Gurgling,

Whispering,

Rustling,

… “

sea and wind,

sand and stone,

tree and leaf,

Me and you,

Among the tranquility, you and I silently commune with each other.

In this exhibition, Yanis Wong examines some of the messages nature offers us indirectly through our relationship with it. Using photographs, ceramics, found objects, and site-transformation, he explores these themes to develop a series of practice.

Wong is a Hong Kong-based artist. His work primarily involves transmedia and serves as a conceptual investigation into the representation of various senses, particularly focusing on the sensation of calm. Recently, he has sought inspiration from nature to explore the essence of tranquility.
