Ernest Chang is a Hong Kong-based millennial multi-disciplinary visual artist with red-green color-blindness. Because of his color-blindness, Chang sees the vibrant metropolis of Hong Kong from a unique perspective, one which imbues his creative practice with a heavy use of cutting-edge visual media, futuristic compositional elements, as well as heightened color contrasts and contours. Chang’s works investigate the under-examined tensions in contemporary urban society, in which technology is becoming ever more personal and interpersonal.
