FINE ART PRINTING FREQUENT QUESTIONS
Having questions about fine art printing is only natural. Below are some frequently asked questions we receive that might help you better understand our services and what we offer
What is your lead time? How long does it take to print?
Our typical lead time is 1 - 3 business days. We also suggest allowing some time for communication over whatsapp or email as we sometimes need to make sure the dimensions and border etc are correct (sometimes written dimensions don't quite match image dimensions... but don't worry we check all this and will help you through every step of the way!).
What file type do you require for printing?
We accept jpg, tiff and pdf. Tiff files hold more information such as colour information etc but jpgs are perfectly fine for us as well.
Is CMYK or RGB better?
Both colour models are completely fine.
What resolution do you need for printing and how big should my file be?
We typically recommend printing at 300 dpi at your print size. We can print using lower resolutions but bear in mind the quality might not be as sharp and at lower dpi the prints may become pixelated.
What if I'm not very technical and I'm unsure about my measurements?
Don't worry you can just send through your file to us and we can recommend the largest size you can print at
How do I order a print?
Just email us what you need. Let us know the number of prints, your preferred paper type and your print size. Also let us know if you would like us to add a border and how big you would like the border (how many cm each side). Images for printing can be quite large so they can be sent to us via wetransfer, dropbox or google drive.
How do I pay?
Once we confirm your order we will send you an invoice which includes our bank details including transfer information, fps and payme.
