Curious about colour and texture in Nature, Philippa enjoys drawing from places and moments that have felt calm and quiet. No matter where she is in the world she is taken by the poise and grandeur of the shapes trees make. The structure and contours of certain trees grounds her restless mind and their company humbles her. This series of drawings is a means of discovering how spending more time outdoors can make us happier people.

Based in Hong Kong, Philippa studied at South Island School then Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art & Design in London before returning home to explore the many mountains of HK with her dog Rocky, teach yoga, and experiment with different mediums.
